Corine Marie Caliendo, 59, of Bayport, after a long enduring battle with
health issues, passed from this life to her eternal resting place on
Thursday, August 3, 2023. Born October 12, 1963 in Southampton,
she was the daughter of the late Richard and Delma Caliendo.
Corine graduated from Bellport High School in 1982. Corine attended
culinary school at Sullivan Community College. She got a technical
degree from Katherine Gibbs and was close to getting her hospitality
degree from NYIT. She worked at Paris Art Label as technical support
and Topaz Lighting as a customer service agent.
Family was extremely important to Corine; her bond with her siblings
remained unbreakable from childhood until her passing. She instilled
this priority on family to her passionate and steadfast daughter, whom
she treasured. She loved to lavishly bless people with her gift giving.
Corine’s favorite hobby was scrapbooking, and she was known for her
masterpiece albums. Corine had a very spirited personality and loved
debating issues.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Melanie Rose Mannino
Anastasiou, son-in-love, Anthony Anastasiou, husband, Arthur
Stennett, former husband Richard Mannino, siblings Richard (Diane)
Caliendo, Peter (Pauline) Caliendo, Christine (Al) Lent, her beloved
nieces and nephews and extended family. She is also survived by
longtime friend, William Stennett and her childhood friends April
Satornino, Lyn Magnani, Jayme Braun, and Tracy Tucker.
