Honey Lemon Garlic Chicken

My family absolutely loves this recipe – inspite, most of them do not like rosemary.

I typically make this recipe with Chicken legs, but this time I made it with chicken thighs.

With an oven at 375 degrees fortnight, for chicken on the bone, the time needed to cook the chicken would be between 30-45 minutes. For boneless Chicken, from 15-25 minutes.

Honey Lemon Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 3-5 LBS Chicken

Chicken Marinade

  • 3 Large lemons 3 Large lemons or 4 small lemons
  • 4 tbsp Oil Recommend using high smoke point oil like Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Grate the lemon peel.
  • Juice the lemons.
  • Mix all engrediants in a bowl. Measuring out the oil first, and then the honey to ensure honey does not stick to the sides.
  • Wisk all ingrediants together until no more honey sticks to the bottom of the bowl and is well mixed.
  • Toss Chicken in Marinade.
  • Place chicken in single layer in baking pan or baking sheet.
  • Pour the marinade over the ckicken.
  • Once oven in preheated, place chicken in oven and set timer for 15 minutes.
  • Check the internal tempature of chicken 165 degrees F.

Notes

Be sure to use a high smoke point oil like Avacado oil or Grapeseed oil. 
Measure the oil out first before measuring out the honey, this was it does not stick to the spool. The oil causes it to slide right out of the spoon.
